About Emily
Emily has been performing in one way or another since she was 2 years old starting dance and officially began creating theatre when she was 11, and she has been hooked ever since!
Emily spends her summers working at Stagedoor Manor - a theatre camp for youth - as an Assistant Stage Manager and Counselor wherein she cares for the kids staying at the camp and helps put on their shows at the same time. She has also worked for over two years at Pressley Ridge School for the Deaf where she cares for d/Deaf kids with intellectual disabilities and behavioral issues in their time at the dorms.
Because of her wide range of interests, Emily graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Theatre Arts as well as a B.S. in Biological Sciences and an ASL Certificate.
As a disabled person, Emily also has a great passion for Disability rights and performance. She is also a longtime Nerdfighter (see https://nerdfighteria.info/ for more info) who loves to love stuff and works to increase awesome and decrease suck in the world!
